There are very few animals on this planet that humans truly respect, least of all are those that we eat. The common farm animal typically lives an unnaturally short life in a confined space, which basically amounts to imprisonment and cruelty. By all means we may choose to eat birds, fish and animals but up until the day they are slaughtered why should we not allow them the dignity to roam free and live a natural life without our economically driven selfish manipulation?

My works on chickens is an attempt to call on the viewers attention to an otherwise overlooked life form.

Major E. Cochran is a larger than life white ceramic bust with a great deal of cocky character and just like we humans he is a one off, an individual.
